The Palestinian National Resistance has already forced reserves, “elite” units, and brigades of the Occupation Forces to withdraw in shame. The Zionist State recounts its historic defeats and the Yankee master tries to rush to its aid.
by Marconne Oliveira, Feb 1 2024
Amid new achievements by the Palestinian National Resistance, the Zionist State Occupation Forces were forced to withdraw from areas in the North and Center of the Gaza Strip. This is the first time that Occupation Forces have withdrawn from areas in central Gaza. Additionally, following the death of an officer from the Shaldag Unit’s special forces platoon yesterday, the Zionist press revealed that more soldiers from the Air Force’s “elite” force have died in Gaza in this war than in all others combined.
The soldiers of the Occupation Forces withdrew today from al-Zawaida, al-Nuseirat, al-Karama, al-Tawam, the Intelligence Towers, Beit Lahia, Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, as well as the refugee camps of al- Maghazi and al-Bureij, in North and Central Gaza. They also withdrew from al-Rashid Street, in the western part of the Gaza Strip. Clashes have occurred in Gaza City and Khan Younis and losses in lives, vehicles, and injured soldiers continue to pile up for the Zionist State.
Palestinian National Resistance puts Zionist ‘elite forces’ in check
The announcement of the death of the Shaldag Unit officer was made by Occupation Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari. The “elite” unit he belonged to is responsible for numerous crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.
One of the main Zionist special units, Shaldag Unit recruits undergo the most extensive and longest training phase of any Zionist unit, which lasts 22 months and involves everything from basic and advanced infantry training to intelligence gathering and reconnaissance skills. Its members are expected to be able to complete missions behind “enemy lines” without being detected.
The Palestinian Resistance has thus not only increased the number of Zionist soldiers killed since the Zionist State launched its ground invasion. It also deepened, and renewed, the humiliation of the Zionists, proving that all the billions of Yankee dollars, the latest generation weapons and expensive training, that all the repression and constant war against the people were not enough to break or even scratch the fighting spirit of the Palestinians. Among the units and brigades that also suffered heavy casualties, some forced to withdraw from the battlefield, are the infamous Golani Brigade, the Yahalom Unit, the Egoz Unit and the Maglan Unit.
Yankee imperialism trembles alongside Israeli lackeys
Yankee imperialism trembles alongside the Zionists in the face of the Palestinian National Resistance. In a document recently obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, it was indicated that the USA sent officers specializing in “targeting intelligence” to Israel in late November. This group of officers would have helped with information used to carry out air strikes and fire long-range artillery weapons against Gaza during the siege that is still taking place against the Palestinian people; that is, they would have directly assisted in the genocide of Palestinian civilians.
Additionally, a January memo from the US Air Force urged troops to be ready for a ground incursion in support of Israel. Days after the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood, the Yankee Armed Forces had already placed 2,000 soldiers on standby in neighboring countries for possible support to the Occupation Forces. All of this demonstrates nothing more than the Yankees’ fear of the Palestinian people and the prospect of the defeat of their stronghold in the Greater Middle East.
Yankee fear is also reflected in their recent abrupt changes of position regarding the farcical “two-state solution”, now proposed as an option for ending the war by Yankee officials and even by Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State, and the President imperialist Joseph Biden. After much bravado, the USA is forced to negotiate a ceasefire agreement, proving that the Palestinian National Resistance and anti-imperialist movements in the region have brought the unique hegemonic power to its knees.
Palestinian National Resistance remains firm on the battlefield and politically
While Yankee imperialism and its Zionist lackeys remain cornered, the Palestinian National Resistance continues to attack the Occupation Forces with precision.
Several military operations took place today, including: RPG attacks against groups of soldiers; attacks against a Zionist headquarters and an airstrip in the “Re’im” settlement; clashes in various sectors of Gaza between fighters from the Palestinian National Resistance and soldiers and vehicles from the Occupation Forces; clashes in the vicinity of al-Amal Hospital and in the al-Batn al-Samin area of Khan Younis, repelling invading Zionist soldiers and causing casualties; clashes in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, repelling invading soldiers and causing casualties; attacks against military installations of the Occupation Forces in the Tal al-Hawa axis, west of Gaza City, and Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, with a series of large-caliber mortars.
The possibility of a comprehensive ceasefire agreement, not yet confirmed, has also been studied by the Palestinian National Resistance in its terms. As Ali Baraka, head of Hamas’s Department of National Relations Abroad, stated to the Lebanese newspaper al Mayadeen, “the Resistance did not lose the battle to have conditions imposed on it.” Osama Hamdan, senior leader of Hamas, also stated that “what the ‘Israelis’ failed to take on the battlefield will not be taken through politics” and considered that “the biggest guarantee” that any ceasefire agreement will be honored by the Zionist State is the “ability to respond to aggression from different fronts” by the Palestinian National Resistance, rejecting the possibility of laying down arms.
The battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, which began on October 7, 2023, proved victorious on the battlefield and in politics, relying on the fierce, resistant, and firm masses of Gaza and the entire occupied territory, in its decision to achieve national liberation, relying on the masses who do not surrender nor accept surrender.
