We publish below a statement from the Planning Commission of the 2025 International Workers Day Political Convention in the USA.
On International Workers Day 2025, our combined forces struck a blow at liquidationism and the dispersal of forces, making strides for Maoist unity.
Proletarians, students, and activists from fifteen cities representing ten organizations assembled under the Red Flag in a joint action to commemorate the international holiday on May 1st and 2nd. The spirit of the two day event was to consolidate ideologically and begin the process of organizing the two-line struggle. The assembly gathered under the central slogan LEARN FROM CHAIRMAN GONZALO, UNITE UNDER MAOISM!
Representatives of the different organizations presented on their work, sharing developments and lessons from their respective trenches of combat, including organized labor, the student movement, the housing struggles, and international solidarity.
The convention was one of class struggle, and an atmosphere of camaraderie prevailed amid debate and discussion. The intensity of the development of two-line struggle marks a positive step in overcoming the dispersal of forces brought on by the Politically Degenerate Right Liquidationists and their collaborators. Blows were struck against the traitors and snitches by assembling as comrades and confronting sectarian deviations. Such struggles of thought and action cannot be resolved at one convention and require the proper grasp between theory and practice to be solved in the continued class struggle and two-line struggle.
Revolutionary songs were preformed between the presentations and discussions and the event concluded with the assembly singing the Internationale, the anthem of the international proletariat.
As the organizing body of the important assembly, we issue with utmost enthusiasm and revolutionary optimism the following resolutions:
- to increase and improve our work among the masses
- to carry out joint actions in commemoration and observation of proletarian holidays
- to carry out joint campaigns for international solidarity in support of the people’s wars and national liberation struggles
- to continue in the struggle to overcome the dispersal of forces and unite under the ideology of the international proletariat, Maoism, by persisting in two-line struggle.
