Federal Probe Launched Against Five Minnesota Democrat Officials

On January 20, federal prosecutors issued subpoenas to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Attorney General Keith Ellison, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, and two local county prosecutors—all members of the Democratic mafia. The probe is part of a criminal grand jury investigation regarding if the officials had hindered federal law enforcement during the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) “Operation Metro Surge” across Minnesota, signaling increased tensions between the two party mafias as they continue to collude against the people.

Federal prosecutors are aiming to assess whether or not the officials had engaged in a conspiracy to interfere with mass deportations through their public statements—a flimsy and highly unusual basis for a criminal conspiracy case.

Mayor Frey’s office released a subpoena he received, which requested documents and for “any records tending to show a refusal to come to the aid of immigration officials” to be presented to a grand jury on February 3.

Beneath their tactical disagreements and competition, the two party mafias fundamentally continue to collude in their attacks on immigrants and the working class.

“Take the show of force off the streets and partner with the state on targeted enforcement of violent offenders instead of random, aggressive confrontation,” Governor Walz said, requesting partnership with the DHS terror campaign.

Following the murder of anti-ICE activist and nurse Alex Pretti by federal agents on January 24, Walz authorized the deployment of the National Guard to assist the police and federal forces in the repression of the ensuing mass demonstrations. In a pathetic appeal for peace following the murder of activists, National Guard troops were filmed trying to hand out coffees and donuts to protesters the following day.

Democratic lawmakers have emphasized their issues with ICE are a matter of “poor training” and not cooperating with the state and local government rather than their role in carrying out mass deportations and terrorizing foreign-born workers.

Walz posted on social media, “The President must end [Operation Metro Surge]. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota,” while taking no material action to stop the terror.

Democrats in Congress have expressed their willingness to continue funding DHS so long as agents receive more training and wear body cameras. However, the federal agent that murdered anti-ICE activist Renee Good earlier this month had years of service, and the federal agents involved in murdering Good and Pretti have yet to face any significant consequences from the state despite their crimes being clearly filmed from multiple angles in broad daylight.

While such adjustments do not inhibit state terror, they serve to increase state surveillance and aim to give federal forces a veneer of legitimacy amid the mass hatred they face.
