The Zionist lackeys of US imperialism known as the state of Israel have met with the governments of Congo, Rwanda and Chad among other African countries seeking unity on a “voluntary migration” of Palestinians out of Gaza. This is a thin dressing to the genocidal plans of eradication which are official Israeli state policy. The Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom, Tzipi Hotovvely, has made their plans to eradicate the entirety of Gaza clear. She cites the existence of tunnels as a justification for this Israeli final solution.
The US imperialist representative, Secretary of State Antony has held many meetings with several Middle Eastern leaders on the topic of keeping “the war from spreading.” His meetings include the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and Turkey.
The plans to level Gaza, for “voluntary migration” to Africa, and to “keep the war from spreading” all form the larger plan of US imperialism to genocide and further displace the Palestinian people in order to secure its domination on the region. They are two-fold: On the one hand, break Israeli isolation, overcoming the blow suffered by al Aqsa Flood. On the other, push Gazans further away so that they cannot continue mounting their just war for national liberation.
The decades of genocidal war policy against the Palestinian people have forced the migration of Palestinians to the surrounding countries. The masses and the resistance forces of these countries have taken up the fight. This is most evident in the mass protests in Jordan and Lebanon, where the resistance has mounted fierce attacks against the Zionist entity.
Israel falsely boasts of dismantling Hamas operations in northern Gaza and has assassinated the Deputy Director of Hamas in Lebanon. They frame these as accomplishments but have only made a deeper sea of resolute enemies among the people of the world.
The Resistance to Occupation is the Only Way to Secure a Palestinian Homeland
Hamas senior leader Osama Hamdan gave a speech on January 7th stating that, “cowardly murder will not be able to break the will and resistance of our people… the murder of al-Arouri and his companions will not shake our convictions.” He continued, “the enemy will receive an answer from us that will teach him the lesson that murder will not lead to weakening our resistance.” In his speech he outlined the crimes of the Zionist entity from bombings, assassinations, forced displacement, targeting of journalists, the desecration of holy and archaeological sites, the attempts at obliterating Palestinian culture and history, the targeting of infrastructure, in short outlining Israel’s comprehensive plan at the continued eradication of Palestine.
Hamdan highlighted the non-stop resistance of the al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian Resistance, hitting “the heart of the Israeli entity, proving once again their control over the course of the battle.” He addressed the so called “voluntary migration” plan as illusions of the “Nazi extremists…that will not come true,” expressing that it is the Zionist invaders who will be forced to leave the Palestinian homeland.
In defense of the right to self-determination of the oppressed nation of Palestine, Hamdan insisted that “the Gaza Strip will be exclusively Palestinian, and our people will decide its present and future, which will be an integral part of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in al-Quds.” Al-Quds is the correct name of what is called Jerusalem by the occupation.
The Red Herald reported a large scale attack carried out by Hezbollah with a drone firing a rocket into the city of Metula on January 7th. The day before on January 6th, more than 40 rockets were launched as an initial response to the murder of al-Arouri. The comrades further reported the trend of growing solidarity from the masses around the world with the Palestinian cause.
Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, the head of the Revolutionary Committee in Yemen, in a speech given on January 7th, declared that ships will only be able to pass the Red Sea as long as they declare no relation to Israel. He expressed this declaration as “a simple step to avoid US and UK blackmail” and insisted that “each ship must declare…when crossing the Red Sea, the Straight of Mumbai or the Arabian Sea” that they do not have relations with Israel. He expressed that ships that attempt to deceive them and head to occupied Palestinian lands to supply the Zionist entity will fall into their hands the next time. Al-Houthi declared that the policy is for “stopping Israel’s terrorist and criminal aggression and breaking the blockade of Gaza.” He expressed that the policy would strengthen the confidence of Yemeni armed forces and frustrate the opportunities of the US and its allies “for the militarization of the oceans and the disruption of its calm.”
The resistance to the Israeli lackeys of US imperialism shows that the solidarity with the Palestinian cause of national liberation for the right of self determination is growing in proportion with the fight of the Palestinians, and that all efforts to eradicate the Palestinian peoples and breaking the encirclement of the Zionist entity will be fought all along the line.
