The Al-Qassam Brigades, a Hamas military organization, stated that the departure of the Zionist troops was a consequence of the National Resistance’s firm actions.
At the same time that the patriotic Palestinian military operation entitled Al-Aqsa Flood completed its 7th month, on April 7, the Zionist State of Israel announced the withdrawal of troops from the southern part of the Gaza Strip. With the exception of one brigade, all the invading soldiers abandoned the region.
“Today, Sunday, April 7, the IDF 98th commando division concluded its mission in Khan Younis. The division left the Gaza Strip to recover and prepare for future operations,” the Zionist army said in a statement on Sunday.
Military victory
The announcement crowns a new military victory for the Palestinian National Resistance. The Zionist State of Israel promises that the exit is temporary, and some analysts point out that it may be a preparation for the invasion of Rafah, but there is no concrete sign that the new offensive will take place. Furthermore, the departure of Zionist troops from Gaza offers much less recovery conditions for the Zionist military than for the Palestinian guerrillas, who can reorganize themselves on the ground and redistribute equipment and goods in a way facilitated by knowledge of the terrain and means such as underground tunnels.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, a Hamas military organization, stated that the departure of the Zionist troops was a consequence of the National Resistance’s firm actions.
“The occupation entered most areas of the Gaza Strip, completely destroying them, boasting of having managed to dismantle the Hamas brigades. Each time the occupation returned to areas where it assumed it would not encounter resistance, it was surprised by fierce and qualitative resistance. The occupation was forced to cease its operations even before achieving its objectives, with examples including Al-Jawazat, Al-Shifa and Khan Yunis,” the organization stated.
State of Israel surrounded
The military victory has even more weight if considered as a whole of the military situation in the Middle East. In addition to bleeding in Palestine, the Zionist State continues to suffer significant defeats on its northern borders, where it is fighting battles with the anti-imperialist movement Hezbollah.
There is also constant tension that Israel will suffer a powerful attack from Iran, as a form of retaliation for the Zionist attack carried out on the Iranian Embassy in Syria. The Zionist State even declared a curfew last week due to fear of the response.
Zionists recognize defeat
In the Zionist communications monopolies, everyone recognizes defeat. Israeli journalist Amos Harel stated in Haaretz that “goals were not achieved” in Khan Younis. analyst Nadav Eyal Yedioth Ahronoth declared that Israel “lost the war.” “Not only has [Israel] lost support in most of the West, it is very close to an arms embargo from Europe,” he said.
In fact, Israel is defeated. In addition to military defeats, political defeats are on the rise. Last week, the self-styled United Nations (UN) declared a ban on sending weapons to Israel as urgent. The United States (USA), Israel’s main financier, has opposed the Netanyahu regime on central issues, such as the invasion of Rafah or the fight against countries that are enemies of Israel. Afraid of the regionalization of the conflict throughout the Middle East, the USA has already declared that the invasion should not take place and, last week, the Yankee government declared that there is no military solution to the Houthi issue in Yemen, and that the issue it must be handled diplomatically.
Strong resistance
At the same time, there are no signs of weakening of the National Resistance or the pro-Palestinian struggle. Protests in support of the Palestinian people continue all over the world. In the Middle East, countries allied with Palestine reinforce attacks on Israel and its commitment to the war, while other Arab countries that are US lackeys review agreements and rapprochements with the Zionist State.
Six months after it began, the Al-Aqsa Flood continues to achieve victories. Palestine, the State of Israel, the Middle East and the world today are almost unrecognizable compared to before October 7th. The 48-year-old genocide is now confronted with an unprecedented Palestinian national liberation war. The State of Israel is defeated. The Middle East is once again on fire, with Yankee interests in the region harassed day after day. And everyone pays attention and mobilizes around and in favor of the Palestinian cause.
