More US Forces Annihilated as Iran and Resistance Strikes Expand

Six US soldiers were annihilated in an attack by Iraqi resistance forces after a refueling aircraft was downed over western Iraq on March 12, according to the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.

A second refueling plane was also targeted but landed safely in occupied Palestine after being damaged.

While the US government confirmed the deaths, they have denied that they were caused by hostile or friendly fire, continuing to claim that the incident is under investigation.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration approved the deployment of several thousand marines and additional weaponry to the region.

As of March 13, US Central Command has confirmed that 13 US troops have been killed and around 200 injured since February 28, when the US and Israel launched their war against Iran and the people of the region.

Iran and resistance forces report US casualties to be much higher.

A senior Iranian military official accused the US of covering up its casualties, taunting in a televised address, “The number of your technical failures, mild traumatic brain injuries, and friendly fire incidents has been increasing more than ever for a while now.”

The Iranian official accused the US government of covering up damages to the USS Abraham Lincoln, which he said was rendered inoperable by Iranian strikes, and the USS Gerald R. Ford, which caught on fire recently in what the US claimed to also be a technical issue.

Iran has launched over 40 waves of missile and drone strikes against US and Israeli targets in the region as part of its retaliatory Operation True Promise 4.

Over the past few days alone, Iran reports successfully targeting US and Israeli military bases, personnel, and energy sectors in Israel, Iraq, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.

Of particular concern to the imperialists has been Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world’s crude oil passes through.

Iran successfully struck several oil tankers that attempted to bypass the blockade in recent days. The Iranian Navy mined the Strait to further enforce its closure.

The Trump administration has so far failed to deliver on its promise to escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz. The US Navy has refused near-daily requests for them to serve as escorts.

The commander of the Iranian Navy mocked the US Navy’s trepidation, announcing, “We guarantee the security of any oil tanker, under any flag, that can convince an American destroyer to escort it through the Strait of Hormuz.”

Quds Day

In Iran and across the region, millions took to the streets to commemorate Quds Day. The holiday was established by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the last Friday of the Islamic month of Ramadan in solidarity with Palestine.

In Iran, millions marched and chanted throughout the country against the US-Israeli aggression. Protesters burned Israeli flags and hammered nails into a coffin draped with the US flag.

The demonstration in the capital Tehran came under attack by US and Israeli forces, killing an Iranian mother. Protesters stood their ground and chanted against the aggression as loud explosions were heard.

Around 1,500 Iranians have been killed and 18,500 injured by the US and Israel, according to Iran’s Health Ministry.

Among the demonstrators were top Iranian officials, including Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i.

In response to US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth claiming Iran’s leaders are “desperate and hiding,” Larijani posted videos on social media of the officials amid the crowds of demonstrators, writing, “Mr. Hegseth! Our leaders have been, and still are, among the people. But your leaders? On Epstein’s island!”
